Two Mysterious folders

Thanks - I'd forgotten the security tab because it wasn't there !!!
I had to disable Simple File Sharing before you can do that - how simple can you get ;)
They were MS updates - presumably they belonged to a previous incarnation of System as a hangover from a previous installation.
I do wish MS would let you specify where all this crap should be put - it would be much clearer and easier to clean up when their installers fail to do so.
