TheBat! 4.07 released
tranglos:
TheBat! 4.07 is now available. I think this is the first public release in the 4.x line.

As we already knew, there are no revolutionary changes in this version, which is probably a good thing.
Dirhael:
I'd like to be able to use it as it does have some nice features, but the completely broken/gimped IMAP support once again had me uninstall it shortly after setting up my first account.
Dormouse:
Program kept crashing every time I tried to download mail. Repaired, removed, installed from scratch etc etc & still kept crashing.
Returned to 3.99 and no problems.

I actually tried TB! 4.07 imap/gmail this morning . . . after about 30 seconds, was finished. RIT seems to take 1 step forward and two steps back every time they get near IMAP. I've never been remotely satisfied with TB/IMAP.
With my attachment to gmail . . . using TB as my main client is looking more unlikely with each passing day.
That said, I was a bit startled/pleased this morning when I found e-mails from the RIT bug tracker, bugs I'd submitted to the DB a couple years ago have been fixed and closed. I'd forgotten all about them, it was sort of like finding a twenty dollar bill folded away in my pocket from who-knows-when.
