Highrise is an on-line Contact Relationship Manager built by the Ruby on Rails/Backpack/Basecamp company http://www.37signals.com/.

It allows infinite numbers of phones and addresses, etc., and has user-defined tags as well as Cases, which connect various Persons and Companies together on a project. You can enter notes for any contact as well as forwarding emails to a dropbox, which parses the email addresses and puts it in the correct contact's history.

They offer a free account with a maximum of 250 Persons and one Case. More usable accounts are by monthly subscription.

Highrise Inquirer adds some features not available from Highrise:
  • bulk-tagging
  • selection/filtering based on any, wildcard text in any field
  • bulk deletion (with lots of warnings)
  • backup/restore contact and note data to/from XML
  • duplicate and bad data detection

Highrise Inquirer is a single Windows application file: just download it and run it.
