Strange error messages, linked to card reader (help!)

Hey everyone,

Been getting this freaking ANNOYING error message ever since I installed my Dynex card reader. I get 4 error messages (upon boot) and they sometimes appear randomly if I have a drive in one of the ports. It only happens during those times. The error is one of those "No disk" ones, with Cancel / Try Again / Continue buttons (clicking cancel gets rid of it).

If needed I can reboot and post a screen shot, but was hoping someone could give me a quick, jury-rig fix for it without needing one?
