LATEST VERSION INFO THREAD - Point Motivator - 1.11.01 - July 14, 2014

mouser:
I have one major idea that would really expand the use of the program.. it's just waiting on me to have some time to work on it.

Rostam -- those are really nice ideas -- i actually thought of making an interface with samurize a while ago -- seems like a nice idea. I can do the things that would make that possible:

* Write out a simple text file summary of your current state (that could be read and displayed by samurize or other programs)
* Add commandline options to add or subtract points so you wouldnt have to open up the program.
However the big question is.. does anyone (besides me) actually even use Point Motivator.. hard to justify working on it if no one uses it.

petertable:
I do use Point Motivator. Just started).
I suggest to add fines (or punishments) as a main category that works the same as Rewards, displays in the "rewards" tab and said tab renamed as rewards and fines.
This way if I go to the W.C. and wander around more than I should, or got an IM message and start chatting more than i should, I could punish me with negative points.
This same category could be used for missed deadlines.

Slenderman:
I just started using this, and I've been busy making definitions. I've two suggestions-

-Have some relatively expansive starter definitions available
-Have a Loss (or something) tab, other than the rewards.

But even as is, it's pretty great. Thank you!

xsouldeath:
