Invalid docking layout stream header

<< < (5/5)

mouser:
When I booted up I received this message "Error EX54: Invalid docking layout stream header"
--- End quote ---

I'm not sure what happened that would cause that error, but I know it must mean that your docking layout files are somehow corrupt.
If the problem persists after you exit and restart CHS, you should be able to solve the problem by exiting CHS and then deleting the files:
PresetViews\Last.preset.dock
PresetViews\Last.preset.grid
PresetViews\Last.preset

Which should be subdirectories of your settings directory, which will be under like MyDocs\DonationCoder\ClipboardHelpAndSpell

Thanks, Mouser. It seems to have taken care of it so far. I hope so!!
I will let you know if it happens again.
Scott

Hello Mouser,
I am getting MORE CHS errors yesterday and today -- it would seem "out of the blue"
I am so sorry to write you directly, but since you have helped me in the past, (https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=11219.new;topicseen#new) multiple times, I thought no better way to do so.

I get the following errors, and I am going to attach screen clips.

First came,
Error EX4 for db file D:\Scott's Documents/DonationCoder\ClipboardHelp+Spell\Database/ClipboardHelpAndSpell : DBISAM Engine Error #8961 Header information corrupt in the table 'ClipTable'
https://www.dropbox.com/h?preview=ScreenClip1.png
Then,
Error DB65: DBISAM Engine Error # 8961 Header Information corrupt in the table 'ClipTable'
https://www.dropbox.com/h?preview=ScreenClip2.png
Hopefully we can resolve again these.
Thank you for your tireless efforts.
Amiably, Scott

I am reading on the site and it seems related to this older post https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=25938.0, too, but it is unhelpful to me. I hope you have some ideas for me.
Thanks, a lot.
Scott

mouser:
How strange.

Can you tell me what version of CHS you are using?
Have you tried the "repair" function in the CHS options on the maintenance tab?
It sounds like maybe there is some trouble saving the files.. You might try changing the location of the temp database in CHS which can be found on the Tweaks 1 tab -- this can help situations where some antivirus is causing trouble.
