i've outgrown keepass, whats next?

(1/2) > >>

Jammo the OrganizedFellow:
I've been using KeePass for many years now.
Can't live without it ... or can I?

I know there are countless threads about password management, but I need something different.

| Title | User Name | URL | Password | Notes |

Those are the only column choices available. Aside from Creation/Modified Time, etc.
I need some little program to store more information.
Essentially the above columns, but customizable perhaps, so I could add or remove columns?!

While I was searching for a replacement password manager, but then I started to think maybe I need a general purpose PIM?
But I've not come across any that also have a password generator with strength meter.

Carol Haynes:
Looks like a spreadsheet to me ! Why not use OpenOffice (or Excel if you have MS Office) ?

Jammo the OrganizedFellow:
Good idea Carol, but it would have to be secure enough to contain ALL my hosting passwords for several websites.
Name Servers, GoDaddy logins, Credit Card Numbers (I use different cards for different sites), I.P. Addresses, etc.

The password strength meter and generator would be nearly essential.

Cborrow:
You could store your spreadsheets and other documents using TrueCrypt.

Hak5 had information on it and using it on one of there shows.

Armando:
You could also Use SQLNotes (free while it's still beta). It has great flexibility, power, and, as far as I know, the database can be encrypted. PPLandry, the developer, is open to feedback, discussion, etc.

IMO, it would do exactly what you want and much much more it you wish. But you'd need a separate password generator which is no big deal.
