Latest FARR Release 2.250.0 beta - Mar 23, 2020

<< < (71/146) > >>

Thanks again, Mouser - FARR easily gets my vote as the greatest time saver/utility program ever.  (Of course, I'd place Vimperator for FF second, so you know I'm strange...)

alias: + to both.

My version 2.80.02 says it's up to date?

Version 2.87.01 beta - April 25, 2010

* [MinorFeature] appcapappendmemo now auto scrolls to bottom of memo.
* [MinorFeature] new alias launch string to explicitly go to end of memo  (gomemobottom)
* [MinorFeature] modified text in alias dialog to make clear alias name was also trigger text
* [MinorFeature] attempt to remove some blinking from memo mode when text doesn't change.
* [BugFix] attempt to extend max length of environmental variable replacement in things like search directories
* [Feature] you can now refer to the currently selected result (or first result) using a variable replacement (%CURRENTRESULTNB%); especially useful for triggering actions via hotkey.
* [Feature] you can now recursively include file contents with the #filecontents alias string.
* [Feature] improved and documented the use of * for alias pattern to always match search against contents.
* [Feature] added -exitifnotrunning commandline option and clarified help on others.
* [Feature] added error on commandline args that aren't understood.
* [Feature] now checks the return value from plugin Initialize function; if false is returned, the plugin is not loaded.  This could break plugins that have been returning false from the Initialization function in the past with no effect.

Well, I'm not sure what's happening now.
Having just rebooted my laptop, I get this error:
Find and Run Robot
ATTENTION: Because it appeared to crash on the last run, the following plugin has been disabled:
C:\UTIL\Windows utilities\FindAndRunRobot\Plugins\Gmail Tasks\FScript.dll

NOTE: The plugin will attempt to be loaded on the next run of the program,
so to prevent this from happening in the future, please remove or
update this plugin and report the problem on the forum.

--- End quote ---

Then I get:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

Program: ...IL\Windows utilities\FindAndRunRobot\FindAndRunRobot.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
--- End quote ---
FARR then crashes.
So I removed Gmail Tasks from the equation, and next time another plugin is found to be faulty.
And then FARR just crashes again (same pattern) every time I restart it.
When I restore Gmail Tasks, it's the guilty party again.
Help! I have become addicted to using FARR and now I can't get my fix!
