Scheduled Tasks and coping with account password changes

(1/1)

justice:
At work I'd like to set up scheduled tasks to run maintanance every once in a while. However my account has a password change policy. I want the task to run under my user account but not have to manually alter my passwords for every task. Is there any way?
If not can someone recommend an alternative free task scheduler that can do this? I want to export the tasks so I can reuse them on system reinstall.

I am aware tasks can be run under the system account but I'm not sure what the implications of this is for the functionality / permissions etc. Are there any tasks that will not work like this? (for example synchronization tasks over mapped drives I presume will fail).

justice:
I have found the following programs:

* http://www.splinterware.com/tour/wincron.htm - might be excellent alternative
* http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/task_manager/info.htm?language=1 - interface looks a bit dodgy
