Can't get keyword modifiers to work at all

Using the latest release, v1.13.01, I cannot get the keyword modifiers for folders to work at all.  If I put no keyword modifier in for a folder, then the files of that folder show up in the search.  But as soon as I try to put a keyword modifier in, for example DOX, I get no files at all from that folder - whether or not I type in +DOX in the FARR entry box.

Can someone help me here?  I have tried different keywords, and enclosing them in quotation marks.  Incidentally, I discovered a bug.  If you put a space in before your keyword in the Optional Keyword Modifier box in the Search Directory Options, the next time if you just type in + in the FARR entry box, it crashes.

try to rename you keyword : dox

i think FARR does not like capitalization !

Thanks for the help guys. It's working OK now.

I updated, but nitrix-ud was right about the capitalization.  You cannot use capitals in the Optional Keyword Modifier box in the Search Directory Options.  The funny thing is that you can use either caps or not in the FARR entry box and it recognizes it as the keyword.

The bug on a space entry is still there in version 2 - If you put a space in before your keyword in the Optional Keyword Modifier box in the Search Directory Options, the next time if you just type in + in the FARR entry box, it crashes.

the rule i use for keywords are :


* don't use capitals (that is as long as the bug exists)

* prefix folder keyword with folder and action keyword with action (this is to avoid using the same name for both an action keyword and a folder keyword... which results into bugs...)
