flash video studio, swishvideo, total video converter, sothink flashvideo encoder so far ... Ive been checking through the list at
(most products there aren't freeware)

I'd like anyone's recommendations on a mov to swf converter - freeware would be nice  if possible.
Have sighted a few shareware ones, but I'm a bit put off by the prices I'm seeing (can't really afford / justify it) Maybe there's a good cheapie out there!

have a look at Imatch at if you're still in the market for some image management s/w

1973 .. Exidy Sorcerer ... 4K ram, z80. For a small amount you could buy a booklet with a listing of the OS.
The ram was expandable to 16K but I got an elec engineer friend to solder in an extra 32 K. Tape storage, until I bought a "stringy floppy" which was an endless loop of tape. 360K floppy drives were $AU1000+ in those days

Thanks for that Mouser ... sorry it took so long for the reply. Pre-occupied with "driver upgrade which stuffs everything up and you end up re-imaging your computer" problems.

Mouser, would it be possible to have a choice of cursor/crosshair colour (for capturing a region? Today I was capturing, but the backgound of where I was capturing matched the crosshair colour perfectly so I couldn't see where I was placing the top left of the capture rectangle.
