LaunchBar Commander / Ontop bug?
« on: November 21, 2008, 08:15 AM »
As I post in the different thread LBC can sit on my screensaver which is supposed to the most on top.

[attachimg=#1][/attachimg]

So I try to untick the always on top option but LBC still be on top of everything even on my full screen media player (you know how annoying it is)

I guess that the only option that control ontop state? or maybe I am missing other options?

This maybe not a serious bug (or maybe special feature) but LBC so persistence to be on top it even sit on top of my screensaver!!  ;D ;D

LaunchBar Commander / Access Violation Error
« on: November 19, 2008, 09:15 PM »
[attach=#1][/attach]

This error kind of random but usually will appear when I try to access preference by right clicking on the dock icon. LBC does not crash but I have to right click I again then I can get to the preference.

Any idea why?

Running latest LBC v1.83.01 on xp sp3 pro

LaunchBar Commander / Annoying border..

From the setting above you see I already select no border, transparent and LBC should be completely transparent. But right now still got those tiny ugly little border.

Developer's Corner / Help! php path encode
« on: July 05, 2008, 06:01 AM »
Hi guys,

I just lurking around net and I found this website that use some php code to retrieve file for download. eg

Code: PHP [Select]
  1. http://www.somesite.com/members/_getFile.php?path=ZG93bmxvYWRzL3Bva2VyIHRleHQuemlw

What I can found is.. the code is up one level and go into downloads dir.. but I can't go directly in there.

Here is some error I got if I enter random parameter

Code: PHP [Select]
  1. filesize(): Stat failed for ../downloads/Blabla (errno=2 - No such file or directory)

Is it possible to identify how he code the path? FYI, I know some files inside downloads dir so I can test.

Thanks.

@Curt

I write the document in MS Word, highlight some work + ctrl+k --> put in URL then print to pdf with doPDF... I am not sure about hidden link, how do I check so?

Hi Curt,

Unless I am doing something wrong but my doPDF does not preserve hyperlink. It does have link for some like "http://google.com" but not when you make your own word or sentence then create hyperlink.

Thanks

Hi guys,

Does doPDF preserve URL links in documents?  :tellme:

43
Windows clock was there for that reason  8)

44
Also It would be great if we have date-time, memory usage etc kind of information on FARR title bar. It seems quite empty up there why not use it?

Why you want to do that. FARR was designed to appear, launch and disappear. I would prefer it to be as light as possible, we already got too many bloated software out there.

Find And Run Robot / [Suggestion] Clear search term on hide
« on: November 17, 2007, 04:22 PM »
By default, farr will erase last search term when you call it, is it possible if you to make farr clear the search term before it hide itself, because when after a long time I didn't call farr out so there will be a bit delay before it show up.

Usually I just type whatever I want to search after I hit alt+space (my hotkey to call farr) so sometimes the first few letters got deleted when farr trying to clear previous search term, this is a bit annoying.

I hope you get what I mean.

Thanks.
