Looks OK, but the public comp I often use does not have .NET installed.

Update: I tried PEW on that comp and works fine. It appears that .NET is installed after all.

On the .NET front you could potentially use software virtualization to package it all together so you'd have a completely portable solution. I use Xenocode/Spoonreg/Novell Zenworks Application Virtualization at work (commercial) but there is also a free product from Cameyo which might work (http://www.cameyo.com). I haven't tried it in about a year but it seemed pretty capable, especially at the price.

The release of a new newsletter always fills me with mixed feelings. I can't wait to dig into them, and I am also acutely aware that I will be up reading long past my bedtime on a work night ;D Keep up the good work mouser, great job as always!

General Software Discussion / Apps to help run XP as a LUA

Anybody seen this app yet?

I've been looking at a number of free apps: SetSafer, suDown, sudo, sudowin, etc. I recently stumbled on the one listed in the link above called surun which looks quite promising and was just wondering if anybody else had any experience with it.

I use a combination of RyanVM and DriverPacks (http://driverpacks.net/) to keep an up to date XP SP2 install DVD with drivers. No more digging for drivers all the time, woohoo!
