I was late by about 10 minutes  :(  I had suhoor, Fajr prayer and forget about the meeting. Was it recorded?

What does everyone think about having a super short 10 minute zoom meeting open to all donationcoder folks?
Just to say hello and put face and voice to forum nickname and do something weird?

We'll just all go around and say our names and say hello and then quickly sign off before we feel too nervous.

  • Date: Saturday, May 2nd
  • Time: 4pm central standard US time (forum time)

Who's in?

It'll be Sunday, May 3rd, 5am here. I'll see if I can join.

The Windows Firewall is good and doesn't demand much resources. It's interface isn't that great, but there are solutions for that as well.

What is the best solution that you use? Thanks.

Find And Run Robot / Re: Latest FARR Release 2.233.01 - Feb 11, 2018
« on: February 25, 2018, 11:47 PM »
I have made 2.33.01 the latest official release; it should now be available from the updater.

The text in FARR product page still prints "LATEST OFFICIAL RELEASE: Download v2.229.01" but the executable I downloaded is version 2.33.01.

I also had warning from Smart Screen but I allowed Chime to run and got the error message. Windows 10 Pro 32 bit (version 1703 build 15063.674). No complaint from Avira.

I wil try to run it on my laptop then.

Below that in the Wikipedia page are links to the Internet Archive/Wayback machine and Project Gutenberg where you will find various formats of file for the abridged 2nd edition (1902).
You will also be able to find there some .mobi and .mbp files, and others - e.g., HTML conversion of 2nd Ed. (1902) version: http://gutenberg.rea...43/4943-h/4943-h.htm

Thank you very much Iain for the information and write up.

After reading your post, I found the book page on Project Gutenberg:

The River War: An Account of the Reconquest of the Sudan by Winston Churchill
http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/4943

Various forms of the 2 editions (3 volumes in all) can be downloaded from Gutenberg Press and Wayback Machine.

I have searched https://www.gutenberg.org/ but can't find the book. Do you have link to the book? Thank you very much.

I may be late but thanks to you Mouser and everyone here.

Any chance to watch the video of your game play?
I am saving to buy Big Pharma. Has anyone play it?

I quit my job, bought an army truck, and spent 19 months circumnavigating Africa
http://imgur.com/gallery/bSOKf

The planning stages took 18 months, from the point at which I decided we could now do it, through buying a suitable vehicle, kitting it out, doing a wilderness first aid course, 4x4 driving course, mechanics course and getting my truck driving licence, route planning, visa research, malaria and other disease research, etc etc. It was a long list!

In the end it was an incredible 19 month adventure that was at times incredibly difficult, stressful, scary and at times awe-inspiring, beautiful and filled with incredible experiences exploring new cultures, meeting amazing people and visiting beautiful places.

How I Learned To Stop Worrying, and Build a Custom Camper Van

I have attempted to catalog the build process of the van, in hopes that it will be useful in some sense, to someone, somewhere. Even at the very least of curing your boredom, temporarily, while you sit in your cubicle and pretend to work.
