When I open the main Window a lot of different areas are shown:

Zoom loupe
File name and infos on the bottom
icons on vertical tool bar
vertical size slider

How can I (permanently) disable all these (sub)panels?

I just want to see the menu bar and the last screenshot image

Hmm, in the previous version I noticed that after scanning of the whole directory tree there was something like a sort operation at the end.
All checked (=all deleteable) folders where placed on top of the list.
Ok, this list contain folders with exes as well.

In your last version the sort operation was done as well but there were now gap with emtpy checkboxes on top of the list. So I assumed that the sort operation was not completely successful.

Furthermore when I clicked on all of the column headers a sorting was done. On the first column this sorting shows again some gaps with empty boxes.

One more questions: Could you include an option to let DelEmpty remember its last window position and dimensions (including column width)?
I have always to enlarge and re-adjust everything when I start it.
