General Software Discussion / No choice for screen size
« on: July 20, 2008, 12:38 AM »
I was given a weather station as a gift. The computer program that came with it,runs on a large screen like 1280 x 768, with no choices. Is there a way to change it in the program, or add choices? I have no experience in programming etc. I have opened a copy of it in Notepad, but it's all greek to me.

No changes for me yet, but I can see it coming.

I don't have a lot of extra money, and when I can find programs that are free and do the job, I use them. Open source is often better as well.

Hey mouser. It looks like the reason It wouldn't back itself up was my Microsoft anti-spyware was not letting the script run. As soon as I shut it down, I was able to run it.

Thanks again.

Living Room / Browser Tray Switch

I have installed BTS but can't get it to work properly. It shows the browsers that I am using, and changes the icon in the tray, but it doesn't change the default browser. I also get an error message; The expected backup .reg files were not found, please restart program. I am using Win XP pro Sp2
