The Galactic Football League books by Scott Sigler are a lot of fun.  See all of his work here.

I just started reading the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson.

The Discworld Series is a lot of fun too.

Umm... www.distrowatch.com?

It doesn't do a grid comparison (that I know of) but it does list major packages in each distro description.

As a follow-up to my OP, due to (good) circumstances in my life, I will be de-classifying myself as an alcoholic.  8)

I've decided that I have relied on that particular crutch long enough and it's time to move on.  For the near term I will be 100% dry/sober. In the future I may drink a beer or 3, but I will not allow myself to become "rely" on it again.  I know why I did, I've made changes in my perspective and putting those into action.

For my fellow DC'ers who are not ready to make that change, I understand.  Please be careful and keep an eye on things.  I hear liver failure is a hell of a way to die.  :o

Wishing us all well ;)

Let's see, if I did that right, it actually loops back on itself.  After the LONG flat it bumps up again and starts over.  Very cool.

Good News!   :D

"An Indiegogo account was set up and in a matter of days, over 17K was raised on that page alone.  Thomas Knight had also provided a link on his website for people to donate and to date we have 31K banked against my medical costs."

...

"Dr. Scholl has agreed to provide me the life-saving surgery I need, and will work for whatever we raise.  I will be given medication to slow and treat the existing cancer, thus buying me time until the surgery can be performed.

I don't know what to say to you...or to Dr. Scholl.  Thank you doesn't come close.  The only thing I CAN do is thank you and continue doing what I do at Reglue."
