Very, very cool. Thanks for sharing. Now if only I had a Wii.

You don't need the console itself, just a PC with Bluetooth and the Wiimote, which es a bit  easier to find at present!  :)

This is a really neat bit of inverted thinking.

The Wii Remote tracks its position in space relative to fixed points of IR light. Johnny Chung Lee demonstrates how a fixed Wiimote can track up to four points simultaneously, adding multitouch or head-tracking capabilities cheaply to any PC display.

Demos with open C# source code and plenty of scope for further development.  :-*

I laughed my way right through this, even though I Know next to nothing about D&D:  8)

Lord of the Rings is more or less the foundation of modern D&D. The latter rose from the former, although the two are now so estranged that to reunite them would be an act of savage madness. Imagine a gaggle of modern hack-n-slash roleplayers who had somehow never been exposed to the original Tolkien mythos, and then imagine taking those players and trying to introduce them to Tolkien via a D&D campaign.

Yes, the whole epic in webcomic form, with stills from the movies matches with some very original dialogue.  :P

what's a tober Jenny? havent heard that one before :-\
village?
pit stop/overnight-stop?

A tober is where the big top is pitched. It might be a playing field, a car park, or just the corner of a field.  A josser is anyone not circus-born.

EDIT forgot to ask, did ye get out of the field then??? :tellme:

With a bit of help from the farmer's little grey Fergie  :P

(Jenny !  Red Diesel??? For shame on you circus peoples!)

Well, I was just a josser, so I didn't like to ask, but might the Scammells have been classed as tractors, since they did not use it for anything else?

Another tale from that time: only the old hands knew how to get from one tober to the next, so the tentmaster would set out first and put down grass sods at each junction to show the way. I was with a new driver and we ended up on a dead-end road in the middle of nowhere. He couldn't reverse out because we had a drawbar trailer behind, so the only thing to do was to open a gate into a field and make a big turn.

The field wasn't quite big enough..  :-[  So I had to go and find the farmer and explain our position.

Did I mention the six lions in the trailer?  :-[
