Hello! WeatherToText v0.6.0 released:


It has a new /O:<filename> argument.

Example:

c:\WeatherToText.exe https://www.klart.se/se/södermanlands-län/väder-alberga/timmar/ yellow /N /T 1900 /O:Weather.txt

Using /O:Weather.txt writes parsed output to the "Weather.txt" file.

Instructions

You need to have "Shortcut.exe" from:

https://web.archive....ownload/Shortcut.zip

(Unzip Shortcut.zip)

Go to Tools/Settings/Configure LNK parser:

INIalaContro_v0-1-0_LNK-parser-menu.png

Configure it like this:

Executable: [Browse to "Shortcut.exe"]
Arguments: /f:"%1" /a:q
Regex: (?m)TargetPath=(.*?)(?= \w+=|$)
Group: 1

INIalaContro_v0-1-0_LNK-parser-config.png

Hit OK button.

You can now use main form's browse button to generate Launcher.ini on target directory as usual.

Hello! LNK resolving program is "Shortcut.exe" now. I'm doing a generic wrapper for it so we can use it while keeping licenses.

You will have to download it & have it ready in your drive to use it alongside new version:

Hi Nick, please confirm this the procedure you want coded for "Route #2":

List all subfolders inside "E:\00\":

E:\00\*

For each subdirectory copy each sole file to "C:\SAS_1\", using fixed name:

E:\00\AAPL\aapl_combined.sas7bdat → C:\SAS_1\combined.sas7bdat

Run external script.

After script finishes, copy the resulting file back:

C:\SAS_1\combined.sas7bdat → E:\00\AAPL\aapl_combined.sas7bdat

Repeat until all listed subfolders are processed.


The solutions above are "proper" yet as I'm amid closing the month of releases, this straightforward proggie is okay. Some times you just want the quick solution! If that's the case, a traditional .exe with GUI from me.

Please confirm :)

Is the format "number - filename.ext" all the time?

Do you need a split by hyphen or any other character as an option?

Sounds good looking forward to playing with tags.

Tags can be tricky with WAV files as they do not always conform in the way that MP3 or FLAC do. Hoping this won't be a problem :up:

I'm implementing it to feature-freeze & officially release v0.1.0 to close this February.

(We can surely continue updating the program, this is just a formality so to speak. The current focus is on "booting" a monthly releases stream toward 52+ releases per year and rebooting our Patreon... We have more than enough time ahead for the apps to grow & reflect requirements perfectly :) Cheers!).

Yes, embedded tags can be implemented via taglib-sharp library. It supports the following:

Audio: aa, aax, aac, aiff, ape, dsf, flac, m4a, m4b, m4p, mp3, mpc, mpp, ogg, oga, wav, wma, wv, webm

Which one would you prefer to have first? Length or Tags?

Several times I have bumped into this error where a file is said to already exist. If a new folder is created, then this should be empty?
