Yes, I'm releasing it during the week, alongside a couple other releases.

(I've worked in tandem for a batch of 3 releases)

Thanks for "pinging" :)
Cheers!

Hello dear mods, please check the previous reply from the "paradisusvic" account (https://www.donation....msg453618#msg453618).

It needs moderator action to be visible since it is the very first post of the new account.

App with clipboard monitoring and xpath definitions for the holidays.
-publicdomain (March 23, 2024, 07:33 PM)

Okay! I've started pushing versions to GitHub incrementally, for confirmation of at least one (1) user --likely fellow user "sphere" :)

First ALPHA confirms the program is not detected as a bot:

Setup:

curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.39.7/install.sh | bash

source ~/.bashrc

nvm install 18

nvm use 18

npm install puppeteer puppeteer-extra puppeteer-extra-plugin-stealth

=====

Clone:

git clone https://github.com/publicdomain/addressbooker.git

=====

Run:

node addressbooker.js

App with clipboard monitoring and xpath definitions for the holidays.

This is the final "larger" release to close the month (after delivering this one, we open our new software project).

Notice: fellow user @luvnbeast is currently in a hiatus. The final/complete v0.5.0 release comes during the holidays, even if it might take a bit for him to resume activities around to actually approve it.

Just letting you know the background key press is a different method (direct WinAPI) and it's demanding a small re-design with two modes. Each having a set of key codes.

I'm home & delivering it in the current batch of releases.

In order to avoid confusion, the Paradisus Software project starts after the current batch of releases for the DC community is delivered (under this username).

The new domain name is already bought and the content management engine is in the making, for launch during the following weeks

So far the plan is to launch the new Paradisus Software project including requests from several sources, obviously from DC's coding snacks section, as well as other sites, such as Reddit and relevant software forums.

The Paradisus site as a whole is an extension of our motto for having a positive purpose. The software section is a part of a wider scope, including releases that go "beyond the monitor" (that is DIY projects such as 3D printing & electronics plus more on the technological side of things).

The goal is to assist humanity shift for the better (there is also a dimension of personal development, yet the sections are somewhat isolated into different "portals"). The web engine so far has "hubs", tags and other organizational means for the content.

While the homepage is a catch-all for the different aspects fellow users bring to the table with their posts, the tags aren't mixed e.g. when you are in the software portal, you get a listing of our software releases, not -say- a recipe for a natural toothpaste or a post with instructions for purifying water with activated charcoal on the fetched list of posts. That's the benefit of being tag-based :)

...The small public domain operation started in 2019 is morphing and expanding into a larger and very purposeful one, to help plenty of folks on our beloved planet Earth  :-*

March 2024 is a transformational month for us 🤗

Cheers!

Ping! :) If possible please elaborate as I'm home for the next days and totally willing to work for you & the community

-publicdomain (March 09, 2024, 06:49 AM)

...I do have an idea based on your previous casual input, but it would be best if you write your ideas forward for all you want for the new program in a single/consolidated reply here

Thanks!

Good luck, if anyone cares. ... Would still like to see it updated to more modern versions of Windows.

Hello & good day @kingguz! Please feel free to check the "Folderize" coding snack thread:

Folderize is supported, so feel free to request changes/improvements/fixes.

(BTW If it helps a fellow, it's an important scenario for sure :))

Cheers!

« on: March 15, 2024, 09:51 PM »
Hello Vic
I'd like the key to be pressed forever, no limit, the only way to stop it is to press the hotkey

Okay! So, your actual requirement is "- set infinite press".

(Key down on start, Key up on stop)

On the way!

- set infinite loop

Hello! The custom Hotkey feature is added, yet as I'm working on "set infinite loop", I wonder if you actually meant "limit infinite loop", as in stopping the loop automatically after a number of consecutive cycles.

KeyLoop_v0-2-0-alpha-1.png

If possible, please elaborate a bit on it. I'm adding such a "Max. cycles" feature as well :)

npm i puppeteer

That should do the setup to run the program cloning from GH.
-publicdomain (March 05, 2024, 11:54 PM)

In case someone else is following, this is the current command line setup:

curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.39.7/install.sh | bash

source ~/.bashrc

nvm install 18

nvm use 18

npm i puppeteer

We're about to start the actual public testing of definitions, etc.

Thread reserved for my transition into "paradisusvic", with the accompanying new "Paradisus Software" project

In short, the motto is "Software with a Purpose", so the programming focus becomes entirely on creating for community requests, assistive technologies (for people with disabilities and the elderly) and -in general- a human positive purpose.

This means all sort of helpful development that directly improves the human condition for at least one (1) soul.

(More to come :-*)

 This is excellent news I can't wait to see the integration of the two together... Please keep up this excellent work...

Hello & good day! Thanks for the words of encouragement :)

As I finish the latest TIMP version for publication, kindly express your idea on the integration: exactly what you have in mind as the resulting merged program functionality-wise (for me to use as a foundation of the new thread, etc.).

Thank you!

- ability to change Hotkey
- set infinite loop
- Don't bring focus on the windows it is supposed to key in. (like Auto-keyboard by Murgee), key in the background

Got it!

v0.2.0 on the way

Hello & good day Kynlo! Just wanted to cheer you up on the new section & releases

Keep up the good work!

No worries AMIGO  I just want to see where your Linux box is at (the full list of commands is larger; the AddressBooker program is a Node script at this time hence it needs you to have a suitable runtime set-up).

Realistically, it'll be until Friday & the weekend when I devote full days to finishing DC programs entirely so go at ease

(Thank to you for accepting the penguin for a platform as it streamlined things)

Hello @publicdomain

Great tool , do everything I want except few things :)

May I ask for enhancements if possible :

- ability to change Hotkey
- set infinite loop
- Don't bring focus on the windows it is supposed to key in. (like Auto-keyboard by Murgee), key in the background

Thx

Hello & good day @orlith! Glad you're liking the program  Do feel free to call me Vic  :)

Regarding the last one, please be aware that unfocused key "presses" are sent via direct Windows API so it depends on how each individual program handles the messages. This mostly works with "traditional" applications that use normal windows; it is the more elaborated ones taking over full screen and doing custom event processing that I've seen having issues. Just wanted to inform about this, in case you're planning to use the feature in a game or some other app with a non-standard window events processing.

Okay! Your request is acknowledged & I begin to add to KeyLoop's code. Please "ping" when you're around again

Cheers!

Other than that minor glitch though, I would put my paw of approval on integration with shutdown B!     This is awesome!

Glad you're liking it! :-*

I'm addressing your reported glitch & the "persistent settings" feature to call it done (so your latest configuration is kept).

...There's still one more version/release to proceed to the integrated "ShudownTIMP"

(We'll handle it as a new program with its own GitHub repository + thread)

That is pretty large, but totally doable.  You had mentioned it being portable. So I am assuming if need be I could run it off of an external USB 3.0 or more.

Currently doing all development on Linux. Portable looks doable, but I'm only focused on getting it going (and doing it right, including userDataDir for consistent profile + xPath definitions).

Please tell me if this command runs on your end (Mint):

npm i puppeteer

That should do the setup to run the program cloning from GH.

(Let's handle making it portable later).

N.A.N.Y. 2024 / Re: TIMP - Tray Icon Music Player [N.A.N.Y. 2024]
« on: March 03, 2024, 12:02 AM »
Hello & good day dear friend, TIMP's ALPHA.6 version has relevant improvements

It adds:

- Tags reading for title, album, artist & year (on files that embed such information).

- TrackBar support on play. Spaced from 1 to 100.

- Auditory feedback is added in a secondary/background player (so the "ent_screen02.wav" file sounds along current playing music). Let's try this for a report on your side. There is feedback on player buttons (GUI) & live commands (/playpause, /stop, etc).

- Right click on PlayPause button acts as a STOP button functionality.

TIMP is ~98% done

Settings saving and other minor things are pending for a happy 100% release. We're almost there!  :-*

My touchpad is at "Maximum Sensitivity" in Win11Pro settings but I need more, is there any way to increase it further?

Hello dear @Kalos, there's a registry edit that may be helpful: https://www.laptopma...-mouse-speed-windows
