Something i forgot to mention previously: the file manager still sucks, when compared to the windows alternatives :(

Which filemanager do you mean?
I mostly use Krusader, and for me,it's the best free alternative to mr Ghisler's Total Commander.....

My choice is Total Commander, embedded in the Ultima Prime package......TC UP is the 1st program I open after booting my system.

THX for the friendly welcome,Darwin  :)
@ lanux128,the tutorials section and the DiscJuggler version history page at Padus' website aren't still updated about the new version 6,but if you browse around, you'll get a pretty good idea about DJ's capabilities.
It's a professional mastering program, and 1 of the 1st burning programs capable to backup Playstation games and karaoke discs, which both store the extra info in the subchannels. That's something that Nero or Roxio never achieved, backing up copy-protected discs
Now we have CloneCd,Alcohol 120% and BlindWrite as better 1:1 cdcopiers, but these are no mastering programs..... ;)

1 of the best cd/dvd burning apps, and only about 10 MB size,is Padus DiscJuggler.....not bloated, unlike Roxio's EasyCD-DVD cremator, but masters pretty much everything you throw at it.
Ashampoo Burning Studio is a decent app,but if you want to rip or burn audio,it has simply not enough to offer to create a decent audiocd .....

UrlSnooper / Re: URL Helper

For me,the good thing about Url Helper,is that I found DonationCoder.com by searching for an alternative for that program.
First impressions, made me think that Helper was based on Snooper's code, but it's good to hear that they didn't get that far....

As some other people already said, there are much better free alternatives available.... I'm a bit surprised that the excellent freeware Izarc isn't mentioned yet...it kicks the *ss of that 50$ beast WinZip  :)
