About me:
I have a background in industry as a drafter, CAD designer
and machinist working with both manual or conventional
equipment as well as with CNC equipment.  In 2006 during yet another industry layoff I learned of some striking resemblances and similarities between Thomas Alva Edison's technical career.....and my own. I am currently studying alternative energy technology and looking to incorporate it into a series of functional industrial art sculptures, for the very purpose of art is to inspire contemplation.  Edison tried very hard to invent and mass produce electric vehicles that recharged themselves as they were driven, but the world at large was not ready for such a marvel of engineering.  Edison was ahead of his time on many such innovations. He even built the first electric wheelchair, albeit for his own use and it never was marketed to the public at large. Knowledge is power, we have the opportunity to right so many wrongs from history by picking up where past inventors and innovators left off.  I am working toward outfitting my own small shop to do just that.  And since the banks and finance companies want nothing to do with this effort, I am asking for public support to help move this effort forward.  Any and all help and support is much appreciated.  Thanks.
