However, we are allowed to use AutoIT!

You reference AutoIT here but AHK (AutoHotkey) in the subject.  Which (or both) is available to you?  They are not the same thing.

Yeah, sorry, AutoIt is available.

I got told by these ridiculous people from JDownloader, that actually the adware downloaded is different for each user! Depending on its system, region, etc!

So has anyone figured out what the virus is and how to get rid of it?
It still messes up my Firefox Google results with fake results.

Hello!

I like http://rammichael.com/7-taskbar-tweaker but they found out at work that I use it and they blocked it.
However, we are allowed to use AutoIT!

Is there a chance to use AutoIt to close taskbar buttons with right click, show desktop with single click on empty taskbar and open Task Manager with double click on empty taskbar?

Last time I tried to make it work, it didn't.

thanks!

Living Room / Public WiFi
« on: April 25, 2018, 08:56 AM »
Hello!

At work the company offers public wifi after registration with your email. My question is, is it possible and easy for them to monitor, not the webpages visited (that's easy), but the text typed and submitted in webpages like dating websites and/or mobile apps, like Whisper, Chat apps, Dating apps, etc?

Thanks!

I installed Jdowloader2 and this horrible software changed my Firefox search engine to horrible bing.com!
I wonder how can I revert it back and what other 'alterations' it made to my system??
Were you not change (back) the default search engine and home page yourself (?)

And can you elaborate on the 'fake google results'?

I've seen it before on infected systems.  They hijack any searches to do it on another platform and make it look pretty similar to google.  Changing the search engine doesn't change this; it's an extension/plugin/BHO.

I did post a video earlier:
<a href="https://ufile.io/k18fj"></a>

I changed that in the prior post to not be link, because archive.is shows it linking to some sketchy sites.  I'll leave it, but you might want to look at using a more reputable site to host your downloads- perhaps even just attach it here?

Sure, here it is.
EDIT: oh it doesn;t let me upload flv! :(

I did change back the homepage and search engine, but who knows what other damage it has caused.

I just downloaded JDownloader and it instantly got killed by my system with a "Severe" threat level, because of: Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C

I was only doing this so I could poke through the installation and have a looksie what's going on but now I'm curious if this is a FP or otherwise?  I got the download from http://jdownloader.org/download/index which redirected me to a mega.nz link in order to download "Install JDownloader.rar".

**edit**

I've googled to check if anybody else has had this show up with JDownloader and found nothing...which has me even more curious now.

Interesting, what system do you have?
To be honest, I may did a mistake and installed the toolbars the installer offers at the begining.
But isn't there a way to clean my system? I still get the fake google results.
I have tried everything RogueKiller, Zemana, MalwareBytes, AdwCleaner, JRT, with no luck.

I am very disappointed that some people here suggested me JDownloader.

After installing that horrible software, it hijacked my Firefox, changed homepage and search engine, and I believe it did more harm as now my google searches behave strange.
As you can see in the video below, after one second of loading the google results, some strange links appear!
<a href="https:// ufile.io/k18fj"></a>

What horrendous piece of software is that and why do you really suggest it?

Finally, I resolved to this:

Loop {  ;  Smallest keylogger I can come up with. Key strokes are saved to key.log, opens in notepad.
   Input, key, V T5,
   FileAppend, %key%, key.log
}

 ;D ;D

Sometimes, I give up and forget and no longer pursue my requirements because I cannot find something satisfying, I don't see what problem this causes to you.

Hello!

Do you know any quality wrist watch with voice recording capability?
I want to switch recording on with a button or switch and to record without any indication.

I bought some cheap chinese stuff but their quality is horrendous!

Thanks!

OK! I installed FreeKeylogger and it seems now that Windows Defender doesn't quarantine it.
However, it has one MAJOR flaw: it doesn't allow you to seach for typed/clipboarded text across any date! You have to choose a specific date and search!

I downloaded it the Free Keylogger from here:
http://www.iwantsoft.com/download.htm

Windows Defender identified it as Trojan:Win32:Tiggre!Plock and quarantined it.
Do I trust it?

So in the 6 months since you last downloaded it, you haven't worked out how to add it to the AV exclude list?

I did, but I don't know if I can trust it.

It's not that I don't like DownThemAll.
First, it doesn't work with latest Firefox.
Second, it doesn't have the option to download urls with delay between them, it will crash the server and get me banned!

Is there a more begning/trustful keylogger for simple keylogging?
I don't want it to be 'stealth' or anything like that or 'hidden' or 'invinsible' as it is only for me and nothing malicious.

Is there eg an AutoHotKey script that will monitor and archive keystrokes, clipboard, maybe websites and applications?

thanks!

I don't feel comfortable using WGET. I need a GUI so that I can see the progress etc.

Is there a GUI download manager that will allow me to download a list of urls, from a login website, delaying 5 seconds between each attempt? Ideally, it could scan the links of the url and download any files of specific extensions in those urls?

Did threads just get merged or have I been into the cider too much?

thanks, but that stackoverflow thread is a mess

How exactly is the first answer in the thread a "mess"?

Based on the manual page:

# Log in to the server.  This can be done only once.
wget --save-cookies cookies.txt \
     --keep-session-cookies \
     --post-data 'user=foo&password=bar' \
     --delete-after \
     http://server.com/auth.php

# Now grab the page or pages we care about.
wget --load-cookies cookies.txt \
     http://server.com/in...eresting/article.php

Substitute -i list.txt for the URL in the second command, list.txt contains a list of URLs to download.

Plus further down the answers:
I had the same problem. My solution was to do the login via Chrome and save the cookies data to a textfile. This is easily done with this Chrome extention: Chrome cookie.txt export extension.

When you get the cookies data, there is also an example on how to use them with wget. A simple copy-paste command line is provided to you.

Thanks but, the problem with that is that some cookies/form-logins expire. So when you go on downloading a file it displays the form to login instead.
That's why I am looking for a software that can detect that and use my login each time it is need.
Is there a way to do this?

FYI, my choice was '1 only'.

That's because 2+9=8+3.

This question was part of the prestigious GMAT that world's leaders need to take in order to be admitted for their MBA.  :-[

I found Umidigi S2 PRO, would you invest in it?
would you recommend it? what caught your eye?
Btw, what's the difference between the Pro & Lite versions?
(I'm not a fan of the bigger phones myself, but do need to replace my phone - I broke the screen...)

I think it's the best current phone at very competitive price.

It's similar to 5.5" in dimensions.

Pro has more memory and newer Android. I think it's the best choice.

As for its screen, sound quality, signal, robustness? I think that would matter most for me.

it's easy enough to find reviews of almost any phone on youtube or wherever

I know, but it may be hard to distinguish the trusted ones from ads. But I will have a good read.   ;D
