I am looking for a program that will monitor each day a webpage and if that webpage change to notify me.

It is about a webpage of a webshop that I need to be notified when this product become low stock or on sale.

I don't want to receive false notifications, I want to receive notifications only when a specific portion of the webpage changes.

any idea?

I want to save time installing and configuring from the begining my apps, when I get new PC or new OS

hello!

I am trying to make some kind of script that will do this:

I have opened a pdf file and have selected some text, which is the title of the article. The script will copy that text, clean it up, which means it will :

• replace the newlines with spaces
  
• replace double spaces with single spaces
  
• capitalize sentences appropriately
  
• replace characters like ':' that cannot be part of a filename in WindowsOS with '.'
  
• if text is too long to be a filename, it will trim the characters accordingly

then it will rename the filename with that text (even if the file is 'in use' and thus cannot be renamed)

this way, it will be convenient to archive the pdf articles!

can one do this easily?

there are some data for some people in rows in an excel file

i want to do this:
check each row, and if found the value in column C to be 150, then add 70 to the existing value of the cell in the column D of that row
if find the value in column C to be 0, then replace the cell in the column C of that row with 150

any idea?

I want to animate a table (or image, etc) in this way:

1) when i view the slide, the image is shrinked to custom dimensions or not appearing at all
2) when i trigger the animation, the image gradually magnifies untill specific dimensions
3) and the opposite

I try to edit the text of a pdf with a pdf editor and I get the error message that the font is not installed/available

what can I do? I have installed (I think) the font into the pc, but is that enough? maybe I have to encorporate it into the pdf file?

in a table in MS Word 2003, how can i set the width of a specific column to be accordingly to the content (text inside), WHILE the total width of the table not to be affected?

because i select a column, i click to adjust width to the content, but then MS Office does so in the other columns as well, which results in an altered total table width
