Find And Run Robot / Re: FARR slow searching/pauses - tips

Hello Anand, and thanks for the quick reply.

I don't see anything in that option that is related to the USB drive (see attached). Is that a new option? Perhaps I should download the beta?

Thanks!

Hi all. Posting on this thread as I didn't find one specific to my question, and the behavior I am seeing fits some of the reports here.

Basically I see a delay in FARR that I've determined is due to an external USB drive I have that needs time to spin up after a period of inactivity. I only use that drive for backup purposes and was hoping to find an FARR option to exclude it from searches; alas I didn't find such an option.

Are there any workarounds for this?

TIA.

As a workaround, it is also possible to click "ALT Space" then select "move" and use the arrow keys to move it back to a visible place!

Hi all. Hope everyone is being safe!

I changed one of my two display monitors today and since that time when I press BREAK to launch FARR I hear the audible clue that it's launched, and if I type in a known app name and hit enter it does launch that app (so I know FARR is active), but I cannot see the FARR UI. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (thinking any setting re: last position of the FARR window would be cleared), but that did not work.

Appreciate any thoughts / solutions you might have.

TIA
