DetachPipe makes it easy to email large files such as white papers, proposals, architectural drawings and artwork without worrying about the recipient's account size/quota, or the technical hassle and lack of PRIVACY of other systems.
The FREE DetachPipe Add On for Microsoft Outlook automatically uploads large email attachments to www.DetachPipe.com, where they are securely stored. Just like email, uploaded attachments are NEVER public - they are ONLY accessible to the sender and recipients. Just like email, recipients can forward attachments, unless you check the 'Your Eyes Only' option, which prevents forwarding. This is ideal for sensitive business documents, and even for developers to send software patches to individual customers.
If you delete or forward the original email, DetachPipe will delete the uploaded attachment or grant access to the new recipients respectively.
Attachments can also be uploaded, forwarded and managed through an online attachment account, just like a web mail account. You can see how many times an attachment was read, and if it was deleted before being read - very useful for resumes, white papers and proposals.
