Dunno how official it is, but this page ha sat least an understandable opinion,

It's unclear whether Google "will do well to expand its business", but Chrome seems to be a part of a strategic initiative to make Google more visible on the desktop, a mix between Google Toolbar, Google Desktop and Gears that turned into a browser and that needs a critical mass to be taken seriously.

And then there's the official '10 things' philosophy (last revised sept. 2009): http://www.google.com/corporate/tenthings.html
But you might want to take these with a few grains of salt...

But what exactly is it they're storing that actually needs a database? Favorites? Cookies? Browsing history?
Correct, they build a search index as big as all words that where on all pages you viewed. But then they don't know how to find anything back in that pile... sort of. (not true)

Just open a new tab in FF, and start typing (in the 'address' field, not the search field) some words that where in URL's or pages you visited recently with FF. The suggestions are always pretty good, and saved my ass a few times, because I couldn't remember what site some info was on, but FF could!

Usually the SE phones are of quite good quality, but the featureset is not what I require from a smartphone.
Don't expect to be able to comfortably browse any standard website on that (tiny and low-res) screen though. If only being used for tethering, then it could be enough.

If you can get it for a reasonable (= low) price and on a carrier that has good coverage and a cheap data plan in your area, then I'd go for it.

Yet another update, and I've named it WinSendKeys 3.0 :-*

Latest release & download moved to separate thread

The excerpt from the changelog since 2.6, included in the source:
; 2011-02-09, version 3.0
; + Added -x executable_filepath option to start if WindowName is not found or executable filename is not found running
; + Added -xp executable_parameters option to specify parameters to executable_filepath

As usual, I updated the readme, compiled the AutoIt3 source into an exe, and pushed it all together in a zipfile, attached to this post.
