General Software Discussion / DNS Switching Tool for Windows?
« on: February 18, 2008, 04:17 PM »
Hi,

I'm looking for a DNS switching tool that let me configure what network connection and which DNS to use.
Because I need to switch the DNS around 3 o 4 times each day. So it would be great if I could change just the DNS with a simple click or command.

Suggestions?

Thanks

General Software Discussion / Organize your Quick Launch menu
« on: February 12, 2008, 04:19 AM »
It's a stupid tip, but could help some people keep their quick launch organized using folders.

Really simple.
Just go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

(replace {USER} with your Windows User)

And start creating folders and add shortcuts or programs inside.

It will look like this:

Clipboard Help+Spell / Change title string
« on: June 06, 2007, 02:51 PM »
Hi,

Is there any way to change the title string?
I mean, I want to display "datetime [appname]", with time, not just date.

Post New Requests Here / IDEA: Twitter client for mobile phones
« on: March 19, 2007, 09:58 AM »
Hi,

I don't know if it is a good place to post it since it's a mobile application, but well, maybe have some time and know how to work with J2ME or similar to create a simple app to update Twitter from the cell phone.

The API for Twitter is here: http://twitter.com/help/api (I think you need to be logged in to see it)

I know that Twitter has SMS support, but in some countries (like me in Argentina) we can't send SMS internationally.

It's better if it's done in J2ME because it can be runned in many cell phones.

Thanks
