Programmer Libs / MwImporter : Can the latest version of html2wiki be dropped in.

 Can the latest html2wiki be dropped into the MWImporter script.
If not what modifications need to be made, or can be made. Would
a total rewrite be needed. What pointers can be given to get this done?
