Thanks for the update. I have such a question. I have a ScreenshotCaptor version 4.41.0 with a digital signature of February 15, 2021. Why does ScreenshotCaptor version with a digital signature of May 31, 2021 exactly the same version number - 4.41.0? The author lacks digits for version numbering?

Hi!

1) Please tidy up the data on the site!
Version 4.31.1 is listed, but version 4.31.2 is being loaded.



2) In the online help there is no data on changes in new versions.





3) For several years now, DirectX capture has not worked.





Maybe you need to hide or delete this command from the main menu of the program?
In addition, there is no this command in the context menu of the program icon in the tray.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed. When you capture the entire Desktop in the "Selected Window" mode, the red rectangle is still displayed.
One more remark. After unpacking the zip-archive of the portable version of the program and only the first time the name of the "Selected Region" capture mode is not displayed in the capture mode selection field.

But it turned out that everything was not as good as it seemed to me earlier.

On my system, a "red solid rectangle" can be obtained by selecting the "Selected Window" capture mode and selecting the entire Desktop as the window.
In all other modes, a red rectangle does not appear.

I confirm that the red field is no longer displayed during capture. An additional option is not used.
Checked on Windows 8.1 (x64) and Windows 10 (x64).

It's unclear just what this message is displayed when I start the program for the first time and select capture "Entire Screen"?

There are several wishes which could increase usability and functionality of the application. Of course, if you have a desire to make it.

Why not to make highlighting of the mouse pointer and the performed operations: clicks by the left and right buttons? Presentation (informational content) of a screencast improves.

And it would be quite good to increase time of display of hints for options in the menu of settings. Or to hide hints after loss of focusing on an option.

If use the option "Completely hide red..." in version 1.14.01, the problem with the red rectangle is missing.
You can remove the BETA status and publish on the homepage.

In program "Easy Screencast Recorder" (1.09.01) I found some bugs.
In the "Help" menu [Help -> Visit program Homepage] instead of the home page DonationCoder.com open it the page to a forum of this program.
In the "Help" menu [Help -> Visit program Forum] instead of the page in the forum opens error page 404.
In the window "About"  [About - Program Website] instead of the page DonationCoder.com opens error page 404.



In capture mode "Entire Screen" does not hide the banner timer.



I wanted to translate the program interface into Russian. This translation is perfectly possible to make a safe manner, using the resource library with the extension *. RUS. But the translation in this way is incomplete. Can you in future editions of the program some elements of the interface and the messages program, moved of the hard-coded strings in the resources of the program - RT_STRINGS or RT_RSDATA?
