I think many things are designed in this way. Nothing beats a recurring/returning subscriber or customer ;), especially if its for the long term.

Optimism is a very good quality.

Well we could say the end is truely nigh for people who raised their debts beyond fixing in believe that the world would end. Suckers.

It will be funny if something big does happen.   :-[

Maybe it's not the end of the world at a  destruction level or disruption level, but maybe an end to an era and perhaps the beginning of new consciousness or awareness... what ever that means?!

2012 was the year for many great discoveries and advancements or accomplishments (like these).

Btw, some planets or motherships could trasnport thru black holes or etc. and void all your mathematics..

What I mean to say is that, your looking at it from a mathematical point of view, a view where rules are followed regarding speeds, distances, and all that.

What about things we don't fully or partially understand or percieve? Blackholes, time travel, teleportation, undiscovered technologies or laws or workings of the universes, etc.

The Myth of the ‘Post-PC Era’: Why tablets and smartphones will never replace the PC

What are your guys&gals take on Smartphones and tablets replacing PCs? I agree with the linked article above, that PC/Laptops will remain superior for "high-end" jobs such as graphics design, 3d modeling, software development, coding, "proper" gaming, etc. The average PC user (facebookr, chatting/iming, etc.) will not have a need for such "high-end" things and will be happy with smaller devices, more limited devices.  ;D

Ok sure, some devices you can root/jailbreak and you have more control, but still, can't beat a rig/computer with full decent size screen, horse power, nice keyboard for blazing input, mouse for design, gaming, etc.

Are smart phones, outsmarting PCs?

Tip: When trying to edit out part of an image, don't use transparent fill if trying to hide/obscure something  ;D

Tech Confessional: The Googler Who Looked At The Worst Of The Internet

Sounds like he's "unhappy" about not becoming hired after some mental (-> emotional) disturbance.  :-\

I also have the win7 bar docked on left side (with autohide on), and also experience the width setttings reset after running a full screeen game. I just manually restore it back-drag it back to the width I like.

41
Not to rain on the parade but, I agree with f0dder, the licensing went south.  :(

Thanks for the tool, very good!  :-[

If you just need a simple way to store text/code/snippets, try AceText. I wrote a review a few years ago. It's fine for my purposes of storing code snippets, templates, etc. and has a bunch of other handy features. Another big benefit of it is that it is a Clipboard extender also.. Oops, are you using Windows or another? It's a Windows app  ;)

You can assign each clip/text/snippet a tag, and use the AceType  feature (hotkey -- Win+Q) to paste any tagged item into the currently focused window, that's just some basic usage. You prob want to check out before and after snippets too if you need to wrap certain things  ;)

Oh, one last thing, it's commercial/paid software, but hey, if you end up liking it and seeing it's great potential as a powerful snippet library, it's a good investment. Also has portable install option if you wish to put it on a portable drive.  :-*
