The one I use is this: ManicTime

It works great and has a free version which does most of what you are looking for.

Living Room / Re: Recommend a 64GB\128GB pendrive

Here is one I have been using, I'm very happy with it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820171833

It's $66 so it's on the higher price side for 64GB. But it is retractable and and not very wide (handy on crowded laptop USB slots). I keep it in my pocket and I'm way heavier than MilesAhead indicated he weighs  ;D  It's still in great shape now after close to one year. (Me? I need more exercise...)

Here are my CrystalMark scores for it:

           Sequential Read :   192.558 MB/s
          Sequential Write :   168.853 MB/s
         Random Read 512KB :   136.808 MB/s
        Random Write 512KB :     5.353 MB/s
    Random Read 4KB (QD=1) :    10.946 MB/s [  2672.4 IOPS]
   Random Write 4KB (QD=1) :     9.822 MB/s [  2397.9 IOPS]
   Random Read 4KB (QD=32) :     9.689 MB/s [  2365.4 IOPS]
  Random Write 4KB (QD=32) :     4.171 MB/s [  1018.2 IOPS]

Dang it! The Secret Photo Contrast Cartel has been exposed! Must move on to other dastardly deeds now that the truth is out :>

But seriously, Google Picasa has bitten me a few times when I don't actually save the photo changes. A week or so ago I cropped about 40 pictures but did not do the final save properly and the photos reverted back to the originals somehow.

Not sure what I did exactly. I am happy for Picasa to make backups, just wish it finalized the saves quicker.

Living Room / Re: Google Reader gone

One thing I'm finding hard to work around is that I have two gmail accounts I used for Google Reader. One for home feeds and one for work feeds. Unfortunately, the paid RSS readers don't allow for multiple accounts without paying for 2 accounts. So, for me, I would need to purchase two accounts on something like Bazqux/Feedly/etc. Not hard to understand the logic of paying for each account...but it means I would need to pay double and they are monthly/yearly costs.

So I am now focused on using The Old Reader on which I can have multiple accounts and then I can donate to The Old Reader without facing a yearly $29 * 2 = $58 per year for something like Bazqux.

I totally agree with aignes , Servant Salamander is the first thing on any computer I use. It may be deceptive as to it's power compared to other dual-pane managers but it just-plain-works. I have tried others and quickly go back to Salamander.
