Played and was little bit disappointed.
Smashing zombies is great but main goal is very, very annoying.

How many people do you need?
I can have 2 or 3 :)

Played SEv2 and it was awesome.

small perfume sample
-fenixproductions (February 16, 2013, 12:02 AM)

I'm curious what emergency this is for?

Sometimes you just want to smell nice (i.e. on meetings). Of course, it does not replace proper shower and may be used in "comb situations" too :)

But alcohol in it can:
1. make better fire,
2. be antiseptic,
3. make it easier to clean things.

It also helps in crowded winter bus where people sweat a lot or some homeless guys appear. It is better to inhale drop of it on tissue instead of stinky air.

Not all are gadgets but always nice to carry around:

IMG_2856.jpg

  • plastic rain coat / poncho,
  • razor blades - was hard to find these in standard shop,
  • tissues,
  • lighter - Highlander Turboflame Twin Laser,
  • small perfume sample,
  • batteries - mostly used as my Canon camera emergency supply,
  • 16GB pendrive,
  • nail clipper,
  • paracord line - dunno what to do with it ;)
  • card reader
  • flashlight - Olight T15,
  • pocket screwdriver set - like Stephen66515 has,
  • ballpoint,
  • multitool - Leatherman Wingman,
  • comb.
Oh! And a needle with thread in my wallet.

Most of these were used many times.

Sometimes I also have my own "altoids box" with me :)

Very handy 9 in 1 precision screwdriver pen.
I always carry same one with me :)

Do not like, too clay-ish.

In my opinion: it doesn't make sense if an icon looks as real life object so much… or a photo.
Hyperrealism and Futurama? Not for me.

Not recommendation but question for:

what is the song in background?

I am getting pulling my hairs out at this moment :(
bald moment: checked dozen of links, online humming tools, virtual pianos recognition and all I know is that I was looking for it long time before. I found it back then but can't now :(

Edited: f0dder got it:

Does it finally support Unicode file names?

I remember having a lot of issues with these in the past.

@wraith808
I think this threat should be split up but…

I don't own much games on this platform but I recall few sample scenarios I had problems with:

1. For a long while there was no support for Poland and I was using UK account I had created when I was staying in London. When it was announced that Poland is finally OK I created Polish account for myself. There was no account transfer procedure these days so I had two of them. Sadly, it quickly appeared that many games I have (bought in Poland) were not handled by Polish account. They were "not supported in my region". BS I say: it was "normal" to go to shop in Poland, buy game and see it is not handled at all on Polish account. When transfer option arrived I moved my UK account - it had more games. Since joining two profiles is not possible I had to abandon poor one. I could have it but fun thing is: they both were created for the same email address and MS support was not able to even help me to log in into "first PL" one….

2. Many times in the past I had issues with WL client updates. Everything was working fine, an update and crashes after that. Each time I had to re-install their client application. After that: all my saves are flying away. Last time it happened: I almost finished Batman. Oh! And stupid crap is: if you play off-line, your savegames will be deleted first time you go live.

3. DLCs are joke. For many games GFWL shows I have them downloaded and installed but they cannot be reached from within games (i.e. Dead Rising 2). Or in-game manager says nothing is available but everything is working fine during gameplay (i.e. Fable 3). I know it may be issue with specific games but sometimes client says nothing exists but game sees it.

4. Although Lost Planet 2 works darn good on co-op, Gears (with UK friend) - too, some titles (Fable 3, Dead Rising 2) are laugh in face with serious connectivity issues or non-achievable achievements (Fable 3).

5. Voice support is bad, so bad that I always have to use Skype for it. GFWL client's voice quality feels like listening to vinyl music next to jackhammer in traffic jam.

6. I am still using WinXP and I wonder how long it is until an update for "Vista up only" comes.

This rant is PC-only. Only Xbox experience I have is split-screen co-op in Gears of War 2 - seemed OK for friend.
I am not sure about "premium only online play" rumours though.

I have about hundred games on Steam and few of them are troublesome for me (i.e. neither Portal 2 nor Saints Row 3 work on my home PC) but it is GFWL for which I felt more furious.

Stats: for ~100 games on Steam I have problems with about 10. For almost 10 GFWL titles - 5 problematic. Ratio is not helpful.

Can you gift things on GFWL?  If so, I'll gift it to you... haven't tried before, but I know that's how we get around it on Steam...
Dunno.
I rarely use GFWL - it is as crappy as hell for PC. And I did lost one account due to transfer issues, when they had announced that it is available in Poland quite a while ago.

Well, I can live without new purchase because I have my own copy. It's only sad because I wanted to co-op on PC with my brother, just like with many other games we like.

Offer is "region locked" - not even showing up when I log in into my account.
This is why I've been looking for it anywhere. I even saw it on Ebay for outrageous 70£ once.

I  had bought my copy for about 7$ three years ago with a lot of luck and have been looking for another one since (for co-op).

I am just wondering: what is so special in this editor?

I've tried it twice already (2 weeks of non-stop use each time) and always went back to N++.
Maybe that's because I have always felt I can't bend my habits to it?

No problem with some improvements.

@cranioscopical
I think that making selection "sticky" would help with your issue. I will take a look on it.

Although I forgot to edit first post, last version is from august 2012 - it is hardly 2 years.

To be honest: I know working with images can be a hassle but I have no idea how to make it better. Any suggestions?

As far as I can see I could improve "DC images" part by adding tags mapping (i.e. attachthumb=X would point to some specific image within post) and maybe an option for exporting whole posts (desired location: copy post images to it, change images names according to some rules).

General Software Discussion / Re: Who is still runnig XP?
« on: January 25, 2013, 05:16 PM »
Although I have bought Win7 box recently I am not willing to upgrade my hardware yet.

Two strange reasons:
- apps I use work well on XP - some of them I have on my work laptop (Win7 64bit) and I see no significant dereferences. The only software I can feel it is Photoshop CS5 (x64) which belongs to my corp.
- my current machine can handle OS update with no problems for casual software BUT it would definitely cripple my gaming experience.

So I am stuck with XP until I can freely toss some cash away for new RAM, mobo, CPU & power supply.

As I need to blur out a lot of elements on dozen screenshots I wonder:
is it possible to customize shortcuts for editor part of SC?

Something like Ctrl+B for Blur would be nice.
