Screenshot Captor / Re: Screenshot Capture Benefits
« on: September 08, 2013, 08:56 PM »
I like the degree of customization that Screenshot Captor provides.  I'm willing to spend a couple of minutes digging to find out how to do what I want to do with it...but that's only necessary when I want to either change my workflow--or work on a task that is different than I've used SSC for in the past.

The bare-bones version of the quick-capture bar takes up only a pixel or two on the top of my screen when hidden.  With its intuitive icons, it gives quick access to the capture modes, settings, and main window when I'm ready to take a screenshot.

And I like the way and the community in which SSC is developed.

I also think wiz is very interesting, and more users taking wiz.

:P  :D
There's no doubt that their English is better than my Chinese...but I still got a laugh out of that.

On a more serious note, as one of those wiz-taking users, I recently installed 'wiznote-windows-x64-2013-07-15'.  But I also immediately uninstalled it after seeing the login screen on startup--at least until I'm happy with the answers to the following questions:

1.  What am I signing up for?
2.  What are the terms/conditions of the cloud provider?
3.  Who (besides the NSA) will have access to the data that I store "in the clouds"?

General Software Discussion / Re: Freeware = CRAP!

Congratulations on finding the right place to complain about Screenshot Captor.  It's too bad that you didn't find DonationCoder.com before you downloaded this particular software program.  Yes, it is obvious that you downloaded this from another site--since any viruses or malware associated with this program would have been added to it 'after-market'--it simply isn't in the Screenshot Captor software downloaded from DonationCoder.

After you get your machine cleaned up, it would be best if you stick to reputable sites for downloading software.  Also, don't get suckered by the sites that say "Your computer has been infected.  Click HERE to run a free virus/malware scan."  Those sites are almost guaranteed to infect your system, and you'd be better off downloading a reputable antivirus/antimalware program directly from the developer's website.

Once you've cleaned up your machine, I challenge you to download and use any or all of the programs offered on the DonationCoder website.  You will find good software developed by great people (I can say this because I haven't developed any of the software on this site), and the community is very welcoming.  Questions or improvement suggestions are addressed quickly and comprehensively.

It's unfortunate that your computer contracted a virus...don't compound the error by blaming decent software and decent people.

So if just regurgitating press releases isn't real journalism, don't you think it's time for a change of vocabulary?

How about gerbilism...would that adequately describe the form of journalism currently being practiced?

Finished Programs / Re: Another small clipboard monitor
« on: July 12, 2013, 10:50 PM »
Just downloaded the latest...it's all clear to me now!  ;)

The shortcuts aren't exactly intuitive, but I can probably handle the four of them--anyone else have suggestions for English version shortcuts?

One other thing I noticed, the white on white color scheme makes it a bit difficult to see if the option is toggled.

Thanks for the translated version!
