Hello!

finally i bite and bought reimage (with the 20% discount code.. yum!)

today i was playing with some system dlls trying to install an excel add on.

i got an ugly error with msvcrt.dll library. i googled, tryed to check dependencies, tryed to expand/register some dlls from the (original) windows xp cdrom, and so on.

i had a 2 month old complete backup, but i was lazy to restore and remembered about this thread.

downloaded the reimage software, and launched the test. I went to their website and opened their chat. I said about my dll problem and the support guy (sorry, i forgot his name) said me about my problem should be fixed.

i bought the 3 years plan, around 60 euro.. and i went to read the cnet reviews. to be honest, many 1 star ratings, talking about scam, about the product not works, about they not refund...

my first impresion... is very positive. My error was solved. The software replaced around 8150 files on my system (ok, tomorrow maybe i will see about my single error solved and i introduced 8149 in the system)

im not related with reimage company... and i will give you some detailed feedback in this thread.

sorry, i want to take some extra time to test, but i have good feeling with this tool.

PD: im the same guy who said that reimage was too much pricey  :-[

i highly recommend this:

http://www.terabyteu...imited.com/index.htm

for a external (usb) image for linux will do the best job (i tryed in all my computers and worked perfectly).

i can restore a 4gb image in less than 3 minutes from usb.

im another winrar user... just surprised about many of you still use it as main compressor.

142
im confortable with the license policy of usb safely remove :)

ill not upgrade to zentimo.

no need to improve the graphics to look like a pro.

many students can draw the player like a "ball", and the enemy like a "strawberry". (just joking a little.. there are many sprite resources with gamemaker, or 3rd party websites).

i think environments like gamemaker are atractive to students, because they can achieve fast results at first.. and they can add more complex code later.

in another side, i think many users will think they can have a game "like a pro" and they will be dissapointed, trying many software of this type. IMHO its great to start with this.. but you will not get the next call of duty :)

Im another fan of smereka treeprojects.

I have bought several outliners, like ultra recall, MLO, mybase, allMyNotes, BrainStorm, c-organizer, swift-to do, action outline, debrief... and so on.

Today im using swift-to-do and smereka... and I really forgot about another tools.

I was an ultra recall fan, but now smereka is improved and can handle/index pdf documents. This was a must for me.

The developer of smereka is always very communicative with users... I feel like at home with Smereka.

Highly recommended.
