Post New Requests Here / Re: explorer extensions
« on: December 31, 2005, 07:52 PM »
i use these:
1- http://www.snapfiles.../get/pikybasket.html
Piky Basket - collect files to move or copy

Piky Basket is a handy utility that extends the copy/move capabilities of Windows by allowing you to collect files into a virtual basket, and then copy, move or paste them at once. It makes file management and organizing easier, rather just add all the files via the new Explorer right-click option (Add to PikyBasket) and then process them later. This can be a great time saver when you want to collect files for backup, sharing, CD burning and so on. In addition, the program allows you to copy file paths to the clipboard and allows you to launch a command prompt from any folder. A nice add-on for Windows, that is there when you need it, and does not use up any resources otherwise.

2- http://www.snapfiles...get/filetargets.html

FileTargets - move or copy files
FileTargets is a shell context menu extension that adds a sub-menu with all your favorite folder names to the context-menu of all files and folders in your system so you can copy/move selected files to pre-defined, most used folders with the click of a mouse. FileTargets menu is similar to the standard SendTo menu but is much more advanced since it allows you to create subgroups, automatically add new folders, copy file path names and much more.

3- http://www.snapfiles...ntextmenueditor.html

Context Menu Editor - remove items from the right-click menu

Context Menu Editor allows you to remove non-standard items from the right-click menu of files, folders and Internet Explorer. The program can come handy if previous software installation failed to remove a context menu item, or if you wish to (permanently) remove an item that you dont need.

Finished Programs / Re: IDEA: Windows system tray clock replacement
« on: December 31, 2005, 07:14 PM »
i use tclock2:

have tried nearly all of them, tclock2 gets my vote as the best.

that's awesome, thanks again Phil, i will install .NET and try again.

thank you very much Phil, but i got this:

and can it add a folder with all the files in the subfolders? i have more than 5000 wma/mp3, not possible to add one by one.

thx again.

i just discovered that one of my music folder (3GB) has been deleted without my knowledge, i dont remember i delete that folder, it could have been deleted by me by accidental when i half awake or some other music player progs deleted it.

there are many shareware out there that can protect or hide a folder or files with password, but the users have to enter the password each time, this is too troublesome, it would be great if there is a simple prog that deny delete to a folder or files, this will prevent accidental deletion.

thank you.

Maxthon browser – Tabbed Internet browser software

hi mouser, thank you for your help.

still nothing worked, i used nlite to trim down xp, and from your google search link, this person is having the same problem, but no solution.

i found that there is only one person that has the same problem when using urlsnooper, this is the thread, judging from the date of the post, i dont think it is due to nlite, it could be the USB modem that i use.

i will image my drive and reinstall xpsp2 fresh see if it fixes it.
