Thanks

Small update. You can drop more than one folder and it will ask you for a password to use for all of them. Download from above again.

Lock Folder is just a small app that uses the built in feature of Windows to lock a folder (Win XP or higher). No encryption or high security. Just enough to keep most people out and great to keep kids out of your personal stash.  ;) No install, just run and drag and drop a folder on the dialog. Enter a password and the folder is locked. To unlock, drag and drop the locked folder on the dialog and enter the correct password and the folder will be unlocked. The folder CAN be accessed if you forget the password (as I said, not high security), but you'll have to do the research on how to gain access without the password yourself. :D

Announce Your Software/Service/Product / URL-Run
« on: May 10, 2012, 01:50 PM »
URL-Run allows you to run a LOCAL application using a normal HTML link (with some adjustments). This is useful for kiosks, library systems and other uses. Programs CANNOT be run from across a network. The only way is the user needs to click on a link to run the app and URL-Run must be installed on the local system. There is a warning message that shows when an application is about to be run (this can be disabled in the registered version to allow for uninterrupted running of apps). A working knowledge of HTML is needed to use URL-Run. I first made it back in the days when there was Active Desktop (remember that?) so a cool web page could be made as the user's desktop and have a nice new type of launcher. I decided to release it because it was just sitting on my external drive collecting dust.

Have you updated to the most current versoin? (v1.0.1.0)? Can you open the folder where FastUnzip snack is installed and double click on FastUnzip Snack.exe, what happens? Do you get the settings dialog or do you get a info box saying to run the settings from the start menu? If you run the settings, the RAR File Association box is checked?

I am asking all this because I cannot find anything wrong in the code (yet) and my copy is working on RAR files. I'm sure I missed something, just trying to find out what.  :-[ :D
