Hello,
A new giveaway to my site of FastWhoIs.

Fast WhoIs can query for a list of domain names in a number of Whois servers. It has added functionality to parse in a web address using regular expressions to search for domain names, email addresses, phone numbers etc.

The software costs $19.50 but in cooperation with the developer Constantine, I am giving away 40 lifetime licenses until 9th July, midnight.

I hope you will like the software and so feel free to enter the contest by following simple rules in the following link.

I guess the title this time is enough informative  ;)

Yup, I've hosted another giveaway on my site, of Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 5. The software is currently in beta and will be released on 27th June, 2012.

You can find a review on my site and of course the rules to follow for participation.
http://www.insightsi...graphs-in-batch.html

Giveaway will run up to 29th June, 23:59 GMT.

I hope you all have received the license 8)

@IainB: I am not sure if I have understand you properly but whatever I understood is very right anyway. But doing something new altogether do not always work and haven't actually worked when I tried it in a blog with much higher traffic (audience) that mine. So, I know that I have to accept the situation unless I get a much higher audience.

I am disgusted to see same persons participating in all contests. I am posting here because I want some good members to grab the offer, not just the regular ones who jump over any promotional offers.

Vice versa these persons joining should they be disgusted from bloggers collecting revenues per their behalf?
Emails collected for vendors to be used for other promotions & offers?
Most Bloggers getting revenues from ads & traffic.

These persons participating you're disgusted by tweet, mention your blog... No reason to be disgusted, it's a Win Win scenario for everyone.
---

Well, you are right in that.  8) I only dislike guys whose hobby is joining any running contests and I am almost sure that they are not going to use most. Since they are hobbyists and spammers, they will cope up to any level for entering the contest. This is my experience in Insights in Technology and in Techno360 blog. I've also experimented with making hard rules like "use the trial and post a screenshot of that" but as Jibz told this discourage also genuine entrants. So, my goal was to increase the number of entrants to reduce the probability of winning of the hobbyists. :P

Hi Steven Avery,
Yes,
That Facebook thing was totally optional. The developer asked me to encourage users to like their webpage, so I kept that part as optional requirement. Only email subscription was the requirement...:)

Next Time, I will specify these things: Final Date, PCs covered etc info in the title. :)

Hi Renegade,
Thanks for understanding my point...   :P

Yup that contest went quite good  :D

This software runs great even on windows 7 x64. Such a great tool. Just completed my review on it.

Looks like a nice tool and a good review, thanks for posting about it no matter where it ended up .
Thanks its indeed a nice tool. Also the developer Janos is a nice guy. He helped me a lot in fixing my issue. So, I had a good overall experience.

I am hesitant to use a separate screen as it would very likely mean I'd have to get down into proxy nitty gritty. If at all possible, I want to use existing (builtin) Windows settings as that is how users would probably expect it to work.

Apologies for not getting around to coding that test build I promised. I just haven't gotten around to it, but it is most definitely on my list of things to do. :)

No Problem take your time..:)

You mention something of a popup and such. Is it some builtin Internet Explorer thing, or does it show for all browsers? Could you share a screenshot?

I think the solution I have in mind code-wise does not support popping up any dialogs, so it might not fix your issue and I've had to look at something else.
Hi,
All browsers show that dialogue/pop-up box. Give me some time, I will post the screenshots on Monday..:)
I know nothing about coding, but you may not use that pop-up box rather set that setting permanently like in the following screenie (this one is in Bullguard AV)

With regards to the proxy thing - I'll bring out a test build later today that hopefully solves your problem, sujay85. I lack the environment to properly test all of this (authenticated) proxy stuff, so I hope we'll have a few willing testers for whom 1.0.3 does not work properly.
No problem. i will let you know whether that will work or not. FYI till now no other such tools like virustotal uploader/novirusthanks uploader does this authentication. If you can solve this it will be the first of its kind...;)

Does Internet Explorer (most other browsers have other mechanisms for auth.proxies!) present you a proxy-login-page when you start browsing, or is it automagically providing the proper credentials to the proxy?
Yes browsers show proxy login pop-up after opening.
