FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: FARR plugin: FARR Windows Search 0.3.0

Hi phitsc, I still get the EAccess violation error (mentioned in the thread earlier).

@ewemoa : I'm using it on XP sp3. Works well. except for the errors.
Normally you need to add a space after ws before typing ?
Did you try changing the default alias ? I changed it to ^ws (.*), so actual search starts when I insert a space after "ws" [EDIT : Note that this shouldn't be necessary -- I do that as a precaution]. And I configured ctr+alt+space to automatically insert ws[space] in the farr text box.

I gave the alias a try "(ws (.*)" and now it works!

I can't get the latest to work at all.  Using Windows 7 x64.  Every time I type ws a space and then anything it freezes and crashes.

before switching to FARR I used Executor and the thing I miss is the integrated search.   Speed is what is important and so I'd say do tight integration and caching.  Allow the user to specify which folders are searched/cached and depth as well as extensions.  Option 2 seems a reasonable approach.

I've tried some of the plugins and didn't have great success and so I'd not favor that approach.

I accidentally left the caps lock key on and my entry into FARR didn't match what I typed.  FARR is case sensitive.  I'd like an option to make it case insensitive and actually think this should be the default, as the base OS is case insentitive.  I am aware that FARR uses regex pattern matching, so what I am suggesting is that a /i be inplied unless otherwise indicated.

I have a feature request.  I'd like to be able to have a command that is composed of other aliases.  For example, I have an alias for opening site 1 and an alias for site 2.  I'd like to have an alias that open site 1 and site 2.  I can do this by entering the URLs, but not the aliases, as far as I can tell.
