i mean $filename as in http://wwwblah.com/file1.asf

it says, you do not have permission to access /forum/ on this server...

bleh, works now, must have been tired last night, thanks for your quick reply and continued support of your great programs :)

i've seen the user agent in the urlsnooper packet information on the GET /xxx packetts, dunno about referrer, maybe just a quick and dirty option to use the same domain as the referrer, e.g. www.file.com/pants/file1.asf with referrer www.file.com/pants/

ah yes, i see the app options menu, gotta remember not to post late at night!

can you create a $filename arg to spit out the filename of the url i want, like file1.asf so i can redirect wget's output to another directory.

i had a more detailed explanation of what i want, but the forum keeps killing me when i try to post it

-O d:\$filename

need the ability to send or copy the referrer and useragent

cause some files need a proper referrer to download

didnt urlsnooper1 have the ability to send urls to various programs? like streamboxvcr and such? any plans to bring that back?

also, i amĀ  unable to create new topics here, but i can reply to this one so heres my post, hope you see it :)

also, file > save url list to file

should be save url list to file, and a second menu item, 'save selected url(s) to file'

otherwise its confusing when only one url gets saved if only one url is highlighted...

also, i'm compn on the streambox forum if you want me to test your beta's ;p

thanks for all your hard work! url snooper is very useful!

UrlSnooper / old versions?

anyway to get old versions? if i remember correctly, there was a version that would allow you to just use urlsnooper as a packet sniffer/filter to filter for words instead of urls.

or maybe i'm on crack.

how about an input box for urls you can launch anything from urlsnooper window? instead of the dropdown menu, just a box to paste any url to open with ie or other browser
