•Trustworthyist: You can trust other scanners to false alarm and miss malware. Less than 1% of all malware files are detected by all scanners. About 40% of files are detected by only half of the scanners used. The average scanner detects just 62% of malware files, with a range of results from a low of about 30% to a high of about 80%.
