ProcessTamer / Wildcard for process kill
« on: March 22, 2012, 07:09 PM »
Recently I've noticed regular occurrences of process like GoogleCrashHandler.exe or GoogleUpdater.exe running themselves up (I presume from google aps like Chrome). Though I set these processes to autokill, because they run themselves up from temp directories (that change from day to day), processtamer does not recognise them on their next occurrence. It will only recognise them if they run from the same location as previously. What would be great is to be able to set a wildcard like: Google* free of any directory structure - so that the app could recognise & deal with them.

ProcessTamer / 64bit process not being up in vista 64
« on: February 07, 2012, 01:59 PM »
Hi guys, restarting a new topic as this thread has progressed to another issue, namely that processtamer doesn't pick up the process. The process is displayed in vista 64's standard task manager (in the application & processes panels). It is a 64 bit application that is running & not being picked up. Even if I add as a rule (and use the add rule dialogue box to pick out the same exe file listed in the process panel (as above), the process is not picked up.

ProcessTamer / Reinstall
« on: February 07, 2012, 09:09 AM »
How can I do a clean reinstall of processtamer. I've uninstalled and gone through the registry to deleted entries I could find using search term 'processtamer', but when I reinstall I see the same custom confg setup that I had before the uninstall (even though I deleted old directory & installed into a new one).

The issue I'm having is that not all of the process's running are being picked up by processtamer, and even if I add a manual rule, they are not taming the specific processes specified in the rule.

Screenshot Captor / Strip all metadata on saving option
« on: August 17, 2011, 11:31 PM »
Though the metadata SC saves with an image can be useful locally, there's an amount & detail of it that can be compromising if not removed before forwarding an image to 3rd partys.  Using windows to create a copy removing all properties is time consuming and inconvenient, when such an option could be present in the SC file save as box. Therefore I would like to request the addition of such a feature.
