This has been around for quite a long time and boasts a decent sized user base.
I have "tried them all" and I recommend:
  If you really want to get your hands dirty (C++), choose Dark GDK {there is a .NET version but it is a clumsy port IMHO}
My favorite is DXStudio.  I have a blog with tips/tricks based on my experience.

DXStudio uses ECMA Javascript (before you balk, give it a try!) and has the absolute best support on the planet.

Advertising is an old business...

It has been said that Prostitution is the Oldest Profession.
In disagreement, I proport that Advertising is the Oldest.

My evidence is the fact that even Prostitutes had to Advertise!

My hosting account with Dreamhost includes the capability to backup ANYTHING I want and access it with FTP or SCP.
Here is their description of the service they offer:

You do, however, get one user per account where anything legal may be stored; your Backups User.

This user cannot have any websites pointed to it, nor may you share files via it... it is only to be used as an off-site backup for your personal files.
As such, we keep no backups of files on this account. These are already supposed to be your backups... not your only copy!
(Of course, you should always keep your own copies of all data stored with us.. we make no guarantees!)

Every full DreamHost Hosting plan includes 50GB of backups space!
(Additional usage will be charged at the rate of 10 cents / GB a month: the best backup deal on the net!)

You may access your backup user via ftp, sftp, scp, and rsync!

General Software Discussion / Re: What is your preferred font?

I have always preferred Tahoma or Verdana.
Plain and simple.  Shows well on screen and in print.

What I have done (in the past) is to modify my signature line as soon as I know my new email address.
Then, over time, as I communicate with people they get the update.
Honestly, if anyone is 'left behind', it is because they are not in my current circle of communication.

My 2 cents (I expect change back).
