I typed the command line in manually and it's working now.
Must have been something in the copy/paste operation.

How can I run it as a portable?
Or did I already by dropping the file on the exe.

I have it work by dropping the file onto ImgFloat.exe, but that's all.
With the ImgFloat service running.

How do you start ImgFloat?

your screenshot looks correct... and you're using the default SSC settings, i.e. let it name and save the image, correct?

yes saves with date and time
i use the pop-up dialog
