Living Room / Is this True????
« on: February 02, 2010, 01:00 AM »
I collect postmarks as well as QSL cards from HAM OPERATORS.
When I called the post office today they said that they now only
put the date and time the letter was mailed and not the city and state.
This doesn't sound right to me.
I believe that if a city has its own zip code then that city and state
would be on the letter mailed.
Which is right????

There is a problem with the Send Money option with PayPal that PayPal knows about.
They told me a way to get around the problem so I could send money until the problem is fixed.
They told me to click on the Send Money tab on the PayPal home page before logging in and
that works.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR REPLIES!!!!!

I'm using the U.S. version of PayPal. When I called them on the phone yesterday they said that
they were having trouble with the SEND MONEY option.
I tried it today and still have no luck. They really weren't very helpful and kept me on the phone for awhile and it wasn't a toll free call. Also, they never answered my email request yet either.

I don't see that option.

I don't see an option when I go to send money to say that its family or friends.
This doesn't make sense. My email address doesn't have my first or last name in
it but my brother's does so its letting me send money to him.
Somethings wrong with PayPal. I'm curious if I'm going to have a problem
now if I try and give someone some donation credits.

Anyone else having problems sending money through PayPal????
I don't have a problem sending money if its an EBAY purchase but if
I go to send money with someones email address I get a message
saying that I can only send money to family and friends.
This keeps happening ane it never did this before.
When I put in my brother's email address I have no problem.
I'm waiting to see what PayPal has to say about this.

Thanks for the reply!!!!
The only time I did a donation credit is for a program that I downloaded and liked
from a member here but they didn't get the full amount I sent them. Money was
taken out.

« on: September 01, 2009, 03:46 PM »
I have only gave out donation credits once and I want to be sure how to do it right before
I do it again. If I want to give someone $20 how much donation credits do I give????
I think the first time I gave them out the person actually got less then I wanted to
give because some fees are taken out. I just want to be sure when I want to give someone
$20 donation credits that they actually get $20.
THANKS!!!!

Thanks again!!!!
I like the A-Squared program but programs that scan for malware tend to get false positives.
When I do a scan with AVAST, SuperAntivirus and TrojanHunter nothing shows up.
A-Squared also keeps saying that the BSPLAYER program that I'm using has medium
risk items but that doesn't mean anything either.
There is nothing wrong with that program.
HAVE A GREAT DAY AND THANKS FOR THE QUICK REPLIES!!!!

Thanks for the info!!!!
I know that you didn't do this!!!!
That trojan somehow got attached to your program from somewhere else.
I have a program called High Folders 2009 and they recently found an old
trojan that is just now being found with virus updates that somehow
got attached to this program and other programs that were created by others.
When I looked up for a description of this trojan it said the following:
A password stealing Trojan horse that logs keystrokes and steals information entered into certain banking web sites. The Trojan may also take screenshots of certain banking web pages in an attempt to collect passwords and other sensitive information.
The evil people are getting smart and are finding ways to corrupt other people's programs.

« on: August 31, 2009, 12:00 PM »
I have been using the Alphasort program for awhile with out any problems but after I installed the free
version of A-Squared Free and did a malware scan I get a high risk Trojan-Spy.Win32.Banker!IK in the
exe file for the program.
Anyone else use this program or know anything about the virus????
After the scan, I had the program removed from my main computer but kept it installed on my
lap top because I love the program and my lap top doesn't have internet access for the trojan
to bother it.

Hi!!!!
I collect postmarks and was wondering if anyone has any to add to my
collection. My collection is huge and I would eventually like to get
a world record for them.
If you have any to spare please let me know the city state or country
they are from and I will let you know if I need them.
THANKS!!!! :) :) :)

General Software Discussion / Re: Is There Anyway????
« on: July 03, 2009, 02:36 AM »
Sorry, but like all the other programs I tried it doesn't work!!!!
I have the video that I purchased from ITUNES in a VIDEO TEST folder
but when I go to convert it brings up ITUNES and makes me login.
After I log in ITUNES it says it can't access this file and I get an ITUNES
program error.
I don't know how you get these videos to convert but can you give me more info????

General Software Discussion / Re: Is There Anyway????

I called Apple support and the only way I can get my laptop to play ITUNES videos
is to hook my laptop to the internet so that it can be authorized to play these videos.
I don't use the laptop at all for the internet and don't have any sort of protection so
that I can be safe if I did do that.

Well, I checked out that website and they only thing it mentions regarding ITUNES videos is using
TuneBite. I already tried that, and like I said I'm waiting to hear back as to why I'm having problems converting videos.
Thanks again for the link!!!!
I seem to get better help here then I do at the CNET website!!!!

Thanks for the replies!!!!
Cyberdiva, I'm not going to go to the link you provided because my WOT program says its not safe.
I got 2 more emails from ITUNES and they still can't tell me why I can't view those videos!!!!
I searched and tried every program I could find and nothing works.
Tunebite got back to me regarding the problem I had  with there program but they wanted
more info so I have to wait to see what they could tell me.
How come ITUNES is the only place to buy videos????
There has to be others but I'm never found them!!!!
It's strange that Microsoft has no site like this!!!!

Thanks for the link!
It's really not going to help me to install Itunes on my laptop because it doesn't have
internet access. Hopefully someone at Itunes might be able to help but I doubt it.

I got an email from ITUNES Support and they said that I should be able to play those videos. They also said that there is a remote device that will let you play the videos on a wide screen tv.
They wanted to know the error message I was getting when I tried to play the videos.
It says: ERROR 23132.
