I use this application myself...and love it!

I am trying to get my daughter to try it. It would make posting to her many LiveJournal accounts much easier on her.

I discovered a plugin for it that will add the song you are currently listening to, to a post automatically. This is a per blog setting, so if you want it on one of your blogs but not another, this is easy to do.

There are a few versions available...

Windows Media Player & iTunes
WinAmp 2 & 5
WinAmp 3

Could you perhaps add a screenshot of the options? And how much RAM does it need? CPU load should be low, right?

The options are all on a popup menu that can be accessed by either right clicking the clock itself or the tray icon.

This was developed initially on a 233mhz P1 with only 64mb ram running WinME...for use on that pc. So it wouldn't have been much use to me if it was a resource hog. All applications I develop must be able to run on that pc or it isn't acceptable according to my standards. Although your mileage may vary.

Added some new features recently:

I got rid of the color list and added a color picker. You can select any color you want now...no limits.  :D

Also updated the StopWatch in it...added a global hotkey to start/pause/resume.
Just hit Ctrl-Shift-F9.

If you run more than 1 instance of the StopWatch, only the first one will be able to use the global hotkey.

Enjoy!

Post New Requests Here / Re: Change Winver Banner
« on: April 24, 2006, 08:45 AM »
I don't know why anybody would want to do that either, but there are people that do.

Take this for example:

http://users.pandora.be/azone/calmira/calxp40.htm

The few remaining Win3.1 users can make it look XP-ish.
But Calmira does add extra things that are useful too.

If I was going to attempt to change that banner I'd want something totally custom and uniquely my own. Maybe a FisherPrice XP banner that looked like something from the toy company  ;D

The reason why it is reverting back to the original every time you update is probably because the version info changes slightly with each update, and the update is replacing it on you.

Now I don't know where to replace that graphic without doing a bit of research, but if you wanted it to stay replaced, the application that does it for you would probably have to load at startup, replace the graphic, and then exit...each time you reboot.

Here is a real list of differences between Delphi & C...and it may explain why I am shakey at win32api stuff.

http://delphi.about.com/od/windowsshellapi/l/aa101303a.htm

Any similarities I may have implied between Delphi & C/C++ was in mentioning that the IDEs of Delphi & BCB were similar...not the languages.

Delphi 6:
