Unfinished Requests / UNFINISHED: Change screen brightness w/ hotkey

Hi,

is it possible to change a laptop's LCD brightness using F2 and F3?

I tried using autohotkey (see http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic42443.html), but the code given is complex.

Can someone give some clarification?

P.S. Checked out DimScreen, but that doesn't actually change screen brightness, so battery life doesn't change.

Find And Run Robot / FARR crashes after installing AltTab plugin

Hi,

After I installed the AltTab plugin, FARR crashes. When re-run it, it crashed again. Thankfully, after I re-ran it again, it detected that the plugin was causing problems and disabled it.

EDIT:
OS is win7 x64.


Anyone else having this problem?

Google chrome complains that donationcoder does not have a valid https certificate, see attachment. Is it only me?

Find And Run Robot / Shortcut to launch with admin privileges?

In start menu search, there is a handy ctrl+shift+enter to launch the selected program with admin. rights. Is there such a shortcut in FARR?

DesktopCoral / AHK Script to dock windows

I wrote a small AHK script that moves the currently active window to the space reserved by DesktopCoral. Thanks to mouser for his help in this script.

You can find it here: http://www.autohotkey.net/~kli6891/onTop/onTop.ahk

The last version of Desktop Coral is required, 1.07.01 - September 6, 2009.

After running the script, just hit Ctrl+Shift+E to move the active window. The hotkey is configurable, just modify the hotkey value in onTop.ini

Bugs reports, suggestions are welcome.
