I think QuickSilver searches for non contiguous letters as well (which I am not sure I would like). Please, Jay, correct me if I am wrong. Colibri does this as well.

#3a i like the idea of being able to change font size, i'll put that on todo list.

But first, please make sure that the menus can handle different font sizes as well! ;)

yes, its really just a plain looking "application launch bar", but meant to grow in features.  it won't be the prettiest but i hope it will be up there with the most useful.

Why would you need an application launcher if you have FARR? ;)

Or do you mean something like the OSX dock or something else? If so, check PunkSoftware's RocketDock (http://www.punksoftware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=45&Itemid=143), which is simply amazing (and free!). It is almost a perfect clone of the OSX dock and it is very small and fast! :-)

Actually I also prefer tab, but I think QuickSilver allows both.

Colibri's objective is to be a QuickSilver replacement for windows. Even its look is quite similar to QuickSilver. Thus the way it functions is very similar to QuickSilver. The problem with it is that it is not easy to discover (mainly because Colibri does not put an arrow or some visual indication that you can access a set of commands for each item that it finds), but once you know it it can become quite powerful.

By the way, mouser, I saw some of your coments in some internet forum the other day, where someome was asking for free alternatives to appRocket and you were answering to someone that said that FRR is not free. I was impressed by the vision that you show for this site and for your software! That made me even happier when I saw you guys mentionned by downloadsquad.
