And there's ewriter, a program I've always loved simply because of the way the auther talks about it.  In reality, it's not quite as eloquent as its description, but . . . it's a nice description. ;)

I started using 'player' when back before "gracenote" was gracenote -- and it was the best of the free, non-winamp players that supported CDDB/gracenote.  When digital music became a thing and he released vuplayer, I switched to that.  It does everything I need, is nice and small and the price is right ;)

I've just got a plain jane keyboard that came with cheap emachines computer ;) I've been coding web pages/scripts for a few years though. (What's your excuse, mouser? :)

Actually I've slowed down a good bit over the last few years.
