Personally I find that Picasa is a really good image organizer.
It'S worth looking at.

Do you know some good freeware tools which can do this?

This program helps to locate and fix LCD screens dead pixels.

You can fix the stuck pixels by calling them to do rapid changes. You need to run this program for a couple of hours. There is no warranty on the result, but you don't really have anything to lose trying it out. Good luck.

thanks for the info

will this plugin also work with Google DEsktop 5?

Looking for Disk Catalog Program with simple UserInterface like Picasa.
Does anyone know a good one?

really cool

I vote for faster indexing

General Software Discussion / Re: what kind of keyboard you use?
« on: February 11, 2007, 06:54 AM »
yesterday I have experienced with a Cherry Cymotion Expert keyboard.
The keystroke is really silent, much more silent than on my MS Wired 500 keyboard.  :-*
I think I will do another update to this keyboard, if I have money.

thanks for the hint

Now I know what the Aliases are good for.

These $$$ are just placeholders

I think I will keep this function
Thanks for explaining

Really useful function, but really difficult to see for a novice user

Find And Run Robot / some weired results
« on: January 08, 2007, 11:35 AM »
e.g. I want to type in em I see this as result. What is this link for?

@ masu :

just writing "movie" should work.  I tried it, it works. That's always been the beauty of FARR : just write one or two letters, and bingo!

you are right it works.
reason was that I have too much Moview etnries and FARR just shows 9 in the result list.
So I always have to enter movie- to be more specific.

Find And Run Robot / "Shorter" command description
« on: December 30, 2006, 10:53 AM »

how about little bit shorter command description. e.g. at the FARR contextmenu menu.
This would have the advantage, that the user can easily spot them.

Add this file to the user toolbar -> Add to User Toolbar
Add this file to a group alias - > Add to Group Alias

Add a rule to prevent file from found again -> Ignore file

Copy target path to clipboard -> Copy target path

Add an explicit rule for this file -> add explicite rule

FARR 1.13.01: better recognition of mixed words

if I just enter movie the URL is not listed.
I have to enter movie- at least
movie update also doesn't list the URL in the results

No, no cursor management programs at all

Find And Run Robot / select multiple entries at once
« on: December 26, 2006, 03:05 PM »
option to select select multiple entries at once (shift + mouseclick)

this could be useful, if you want to select multiple entries which FARR should ignore

Unfortunately the video link is down. Does anyone know an alternative link for this video?

merry christmas

Idea: Shift + Rightclick on an entry should directly show the Explorer contextmenu

General Software Discussion / Looking for some stylish mouse cursors
« on: December 23, 2006, 10:10 AM »

I want to refresh my WInXP interface.
I already use the OpusOS Theme.

What I am still looking for is new theme for my windows mouse cursors.
What can you recommend?
